Existing concrete grade through pull-out testing

Thank you for your question. Determining the grade of the concrete from test results of the HAT180 is not possible. This has different reasons, but the most important reason is based on statistics: the sample size.

So unless you perform enough tests to make the MSE small enough, you can make a good guess for the grade, but it still is an estimation instead of a predefined value.

There can be several reasons to perform a test, namely:

• No data available for the base material. The strenght of the base material still cannot be determined, but a pull-out value can be determined (with safetyfactors & statistics)
• Checking whether the connection is sufficient for the calculated purpose
